With an aim to promote harmony – the Seoul International Festival is also held annually, including performances by young promising musicians, established masters, classics, contemporary artists.
Grass Weaving
The nondescript plant usually cast aside is transformed into an exquisite art form which is so breath taking that it is hard to believe that human hands have created it. Wancho basketry takes years of training, dexterity and incredible patience. Wares include mats and containers.
The 4 elements of Earth, Fire, Water and Air interwoven together give shape to Pottery. Korean Pottery demonstrates demure natural beauty with least artificiality which soothes and uplifts.
